Double Ended Hydraulic Cylinders will normally comprise of a single piston head mounted centrally on the hydraulic cylinder rod. The rod will protrude both side of the cylinder tube.Forward and backward movement based on two-way speeds are the same because the areas of both sides are the same. It is representatively used for the steering apparatus system which uses oil hydraulic pressure and it is commonly called power steering cylinder .

 

Double-ended cylinders feature piston rod extensions from each end; as one end is extended, the opposite end is retracted. Working force, and speed are equal in both directions. A large selection of rod mounting attachments permits work at both ends of the cylinder. Available F and O type pistons provide low cost, high performance for your pneumatic or hydraulic application. It is this attribute that lends them to be widely used across many industries as Hydraulic Steering Cylinders.
